UW Cancer Center Johnson Creek is a proud regional partner of the UW Carbone Cancer Center, the only comprehensive cancer center in Wisconsin, as designated by the National Cancer Institute. This partnership provides cancer patients with access to improved cancer care, patient education, “real-time” second opinions and clinical trials.
UW Cancer Center Johnson Creek offers leading-edge cancer care in a supportive, nurturing environment to help patients and their families cope with the diagnosis of cancer and to help them through their care plans.
We offer the Varian TrueBeam Radiotherapy System. This linear accelerator is designed to deliver high-energy radiation to treat tumors deep within the body allowing clinic staff to capture images to compare to the patient’s treatment plan to ensure accuracy. The radiation therapy machine in Johnson Creek is expertly matched to the TrueBeam machines at University Hospital. If a patient being treated at Johnson Creek becomes very ill and needs to go to University Hospital, they will be able to continue radiation treatments there without delay.
