Community Health Assessment
What is a Community Health Assessment (CHA)?
As a hospital, we are guided by a fundamental goal to improve the health of the communities we serve. The Community Health Assessment, which we will conduct every 3 years, establishes in clear terms the unique needs of our community, ensures we have the information we need to work towards those goals, and provides an opportunity to improve coordination between hospital community benefits and other community health initiatives.
Watertown Regional Medical Center’s Board of Trustees approved this assessment on October 11th, 2022. Over the next several months, Watertown Regional Medical Center will work towards creating an implementation plan specific to the hospital to address the community needs found throughout the assessment.
The Community Health Assessment Report is made widely available to the community via the link below and paper copies are free of charge by calling 920-261-4210.
