February 15, 2024
WATERTOWN, WI — Rock River Community Clinic and Watertown Regional Medical Center proudly announce a significant step towards enhancing the health of community members in Dodge, Jefferson, and Walworth counties with Watertown Regional Medical Center's generous donation of $500,000 to the Rock River Community Clinic.
This donation will be disbursed in quarterly installments over the next two years, aiming to bolster the clinic’s vital healthcare services including medical care, dental care, and care coordination.
Many patients who visit the Rock River Community Clinic have never seen a provider or have gone without health care for far too long. In 2023, the clinics located in Watertown, Whitewater, Jefferson, and Fort Atkinson saw over 1,200 medical patients and over 1,600 dental patients including 800 children and 275 patients with developmental disabilities.
"We are incredibly thankful for Watertown Regional Medical Center's commitment to Rock River Community Clinic and the health and well-being of our community,” said Olivia Nichols, Director of Rock River Community Clinic. “This substantial contribution will significantly impact our ability to provide essential medical and dental services to those in need. Their support aligns seamlessly with our mission to provide quality, comprehensive health care to all."
This donation underscores Watertown Regional Medical Center's commitment not only to providing exceptional healthcare but also to actively supporting local organizations dedicated to the well-being of the community.
“Our core mission is to provide quality healthcare services, but equally crucial is our commitment to supporting local healthcare initiatives,” said Richard Keddington, CEO of Watertown Regional Medical Center. “The Rock River Community Clinic plays a pivotal role in our community, helping to keep all members of our community healthy and we believe contributing to their success ultimately leads to our success.”
Rock River Community Clinic relies heavily on the giving power of local donors to help support uninsured patient needs. Watertown Regional Medical Center's generous donation will enable Rock River Community Clinic to expand its reach and enhance the scope of services offered, ultimately contributing to healthier and more resilient communities.
